Dog’s Day Out
Think of it as a field trip… but for shelter dogs! Our Dog’s Day Out program lets approved volunteers take a pup out for an adventure—a hike, a coffee run, or even just a couch nap at home. While it may seem like a fun hang (and it is), it’s actually short-term fostering with big benefits: socialization, exposure to new people, and one-on-one bonding that can help dogs shine and get adopted faster.
To join the fun, volunteers must complete 20 hours of dog walking—because good things come to those who leash up!
