Letter From Our Board Chair

Greetings! My name is Tony Armao and I am proud to be the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Lehigh Valley Humane Society. I am a lifelong resident of the Valley and my wife and I are the proud parents of our furry friends Rupert, Bert, Ernie and Vesper.

Our board is made up of 15 animal loving members who are committed to providing top of the line services to the stray and abandoned animals of the Valley. Each one of us work to make LVHS an animal shelter and vet clinic that you can be proud of.

As leaders of this amazing organization we are committed to listening and learning so that we can continue to provide the services that you as residents are asking for. Over the years we have heard from many of you and know that providing high quality, low cost medical care and offering a safe and healing environment to the animals that need shelter are two of the biggest needs annually.

We are excited as we enter 2026 and remain committed to serving our municipalities, offering cutting edge state of the art medical care and increasing our outreach services by launching the first mobile medical clinic in the Valley.
