The NY Dog Film Festival® exists to celebrate the bond between dogs and people around the world, as seen through the work of brilliant filmmakers. At the same time, we want to raise awareness of the life-saving work being done at small rescues and large shelters by inviting their followers to the Festival and giving 10% of every ticket directly to those local shelters.

The NY Cat Film Festival™ is an exploration through film of the fascinating felines who share our lives, creating a shared audience experience that inspires, educates and entertains.

Cats have their own unique and indescribable bond with people – even when living independently as community cats. For far too long, felines have been the “invisible” part of the human-animal bond and it’s time to shine the spotlight on these magnificent creatures and the humans devoted to them.

A portion of every ticket at goes to the LVHS, bringing community awareness and support for the needs of local kitties.

Man’s Best Friend – his dog or his beer? The Allentown Brew Works says – “Why choose?”! Come join us Friday September 27th from 5-8 pm on the Beergaarden patio and bring your pup to the Brew Works’ Pups on the Patio!

A portion of every Mutt-ini, Long Island iced tea, house draft beer, appetizer and burger purchased will benefit LVHS. Don't forget about the special doggie menu as well!

Grab some delicious food at Red Robin between the hours of 4pm and 8pm on Thursday, September 26th, and the Lehigh Valley Humane Society will receive 20% of the proceeds from food sales!

Simply mention the Lehigh Valley Humane Society when you order and your server will count it towards our fundraiser.

We are back for another Dog Adoption event with the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs!

Doors open at 5:30pm and first pitch is scheduled for 6:45pm.

Guests are invited to bring their own dogs, and will have an opportunity to grab a free leash from Purina!
