Meet Our Team
Dr. Michael A Descant
Dr. Michael A. Descant is a 2014 graduate of University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. His passion for helping homeless animals began long before he graduated veterinary school. Dr. Descant’s first position in shelter medicine was at an open admission shelter in rural Tennessee while attending veterinary school. After graduating, Dr. Descant and his family relocated to Pennsylvania where he worked in private practice.
Missing some of the work he had done in Tennessee, Dr. Descant sought out shelters that needed help and continued to work in those shelters part time. Before long, Dr. Descant decided to return to shelter medicine full time. Dr. Descant has been the keystone in helping the LVHS Community Vet Clinic better serve the people and animals of the Lehigh Valley. He enjoys caring for his “extended family”, all the animals that come through his door. Dr. Descant enjoys spending quality time with his wife, 4 children, and dogs.
Dr. Sabrie Mozé
Dr. Sabrie Mozé is an enthusiastic emergency veterinarian from Long Island, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. She gained valuable experience in speciality practice through completing a year long surgical internship at Animal Surgical Center and a rotating internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists, where she discovered her passions for emergency medicine and surgery. Dr. Mozé has also been involved in many high volume spay & neuter organizations as well as Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) programs for feral cats, having pioneered a TNR program on a fully converted school bus near her hometown. Driven to bridge gaps in emergency care for animals, she is committed to making a meaningful impact in both emergency and shelter medicine. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, exercising and relaxing at home with her pets.
Dr. Jennifer Camilli
With over 18 years of veterinary experience, Dr. Jennifer Camilli brings both expertise and heart to the Lehigh Valley Humane Society. After years in private practice, she discovered her true calling in shelter medicine—helping the animals who need it most.
Her career has taken her from Pennsylvania to the Caribbean, where she cared for countless pets and gained a global perspective on animal welfare. Now back in PA, she’s dedicated to giving shelter pets the best chance at healthy, happy lives.
At home, Dr. Camilli is a proud pet parent to two rescue animals and has a lifelong love for horses. Her compassion, skill, and commitment make her an invaluable part of our veterinary team.
