LVHS Shelter Tails
It's been an exciting year for us at the LVHS. We have continued to exceed the No Kill Benchmark of a 90% live release rate month after month, we have found wonderful forever homes for many of our longest residents and have assisted many families through our Community Vet Clinic. Even with our successful start, we have faced the same struggles that many other animal welfare organizations face during the warmer months. We have seen an exponential increase in the number of stray and abandoned pets and have seen more pets arrive to us sick and injured. Through it all, we know that we have an amazing community that persists in our support and for that we are so grateful.
